Our Mission

“Worship The Lord At Any Cost”

Beacon Of truth has only one goal and that is to make worshippers of the one true God, through pure biblical preaching. We believe the words of the Lord Jesus that the Father is looking for true worshippers (John 4:23). We do not believe that the Father is looking for mere pew dwellers or namesake converts. We recognise this great longing of the Father to see His worshippers on earth. Therefore we seek His grace to lead us and bless us in our humble service to produce worshippers.

We are greatly grieved that today much of Christendom is taken up with the needs of humanity and no one is burdened over the 'need of the Lord' to see worshippers. Everything in Christian ministry is dictated by human needs and if some issue is not found to be a felt need of man, then that is considered to be of low priority. No concern is there in today's preaching for the glory of God and His needs being fulfilled in His purposes. Since we live in post evangelical days, these are no surprises. But they are certainly grievous. We believe the words of the Lord that if we are mindful of the things of man more than the things of God then we are a stumbling block to Him (Matthew 16:23).

There are many a reason why we are in this state but certainly the main issue is the forgotten revelation of God in the Bible. There is very little preaching on God these days that is biblically sound. Pop Christianity has developed an idol called God who looks more like a genie rather than the great YAHWEH of the Bible. Worldly mega churches, frothy youth ministry, silly music events, corrupt Christian television, all adds to this great corruption of the knowledge of God in our generation. Inside the church, there are very few individuals who know anything about the absolute worthiness of God in worship and that He is worth worshipping at any cost.

We are greatly burdened at this sad state of affairs and pleads with God to bring forth a reformation in His church in whichever way it is pleasing to Him and using whoever He pleases to do so. We are aware that our great God has many and more useful servants than us and our prayer is just that God may bring forth reformation, whom He uses is of no issue to us. We are greatly concerned of the knowledge of God, especially the saints knowing His worthiness in worship that they are willing to pay any price to see God worshipped and glorified. A reformation where God enlightens His church with His precious knowledge is our great desire. There have been many so-called revivals in past years where there was no preaching of God but rather a frenzy over miracles or healings and God was popular only in light of His benefit to man. We have no interest in such man centred 'revivals', but in a God sent reformation where God will be counted glorious by His church in response to His revelation of His beauty and perfection found within Himself. May our Lord be worshipped as God and not as a means for man's ends is our great longing.

We certainly are not against the benefits of the gospel, but we are totally against commercial Christianity of our day and age. We have nothing to do with churches and ministries that live on this utilitarian religion of the day. We seek to follow the Bible as it clearly declares that God's need to be worshipped and glorified is far more important than meeting any man's need. Our Lord Jesus as He approached the cross, in John 12:27-30, taught us that at the most painful time of His life, He would not pray “Father save me from this hour” (v.27), but rather He prayed “Father glorify your Name”. This passage teaches us that in doing God's will if we have to suffer then we are not to pray for ways to escape suffering, but that the Name of God be glorified through our suffering. It also teaches that the heart of a worshipper is one which seeks to suffer any amount for the glorification of God. This is how we have our mission statement “Worship The Lord At Any Cost.” Only a worshipper who has been enlightened on the incomparable, surpassing worthiness of God in worship can willingly do so. This is why we recognise our primary responsibility as that of making known the riches of God, the Person in His word, so that His church will count God alone precious, call Him alone their reward and treasure Him alone in their life with wholehearted adoration and godly reverence.

Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendour of His holiness.”
(I Chronicles16:28-29)
